California!!
“Oh god I’m so bored, I’m leaving early dude.” said pinkkis with great enthusiasm.
“Ok cool, see you in Paris.”

I leave my flat almost an hour later…
“Hey man, where you at then?”
“Well…. the RER C doesn’t go today or whatever, so I’m waiting for the train at Versailles Chantiers.”
…. well good he left early then.

So we eventually got to St Michel, had some overpriced toasts, and headed out to Charles de Gaulle airport. Now at this point we were already both excited about the trip. As said, neither of us have ever been across the Atlantic before. So feelings were good!

We were in good time at the airport, and had no problems getting to the plane. It seems they knew we’ve flown before, both were grabbing their laptops before we even got to the security check.

One thing I have to mention tho… Terminal 2E is waaaaaaaaa nicer than any of the other terminals at CDG. It’s friggin’ huge compared to the others. It looked like a shopping mall lol. And pinkkis failed every single security check. Which was excellent. Three bag checks compared to my one.

Next thing to mention, an 8 hour flight is boring as f*ck. But they had some sweet movies that passed the time quite nicely. Watched Incredible Hulk, Get Smart, The Fall and Transporter. They also had Hancock on the list, so pretty new stuff. Legs hurt like hell after the flight tho.

At Detroit the first thing we noticed, was the amount of security checks. TWo US Customs and one Homeland Security. All which we did pass through with flying colours this time, even pinkkis. They were a bit sceptic about this “Blizzard Entertainment Game Master” -job, what is this? Detroit Airport also seems to be the model for Tony Hawk 2 or 3, recognised immediately the long rails and the fountain. Had a Samuel Adams at at the Fox Sports Bar.

The flight from Detroit to Los Angeles was a lot better. Mainly because of my single-served friend named Lindsay. She had a brain, combined with hot sexy looks, a real pleasure to look at and talk to. Made the trip a lot less painful and boring. But kids I gotta tell you, spending 15 hours on airplanes in one day is not, I say NOT, fun. Wednesday lasted around 34 hours, or around that, for us today. Now all I want to do is sleep.

We need to go get some kind of adapter tomorrow. The one we have, doesn’t let us fit our laptops to it.

More tomorrow….
